session 001 - may 4, 2011 drink-n-draw at 3rd ward

finally back to drawing and sketching, i decided to check out 3rd ward's wednesday nights drink-n-draw session (3rd ward website).  the beautiful model walked in and i got two cans of PBR (o yes, unlimited beer) ready on my side.  session started off with one-minute poses, then to two-minutes, then five-minutes.  i warmed up a bit with my pencil.  then the poses went to three ten-minutes poses, and two twenty-minutes poses.  overall, it's a great experience and i'll go for more.

i posted a few things below - first image is two ten-minutes poses and the last two images are the two twenty-minutes poses.  keep in mind the girl was pretty hot and not as skinny and ... wrinkly... as my sketches might suggest.  hope you guys like.

sketch 008 - hellboy & scooby-doo: mystery of the prohibition ghost

happy halloween, everybody!

i recently listened to one of my favorite podcasts out there, war rocket ajax (w.r.a. on the barrel! shout-out!), and chris sims (one of the hosts) and tom fowler (one of the guests) were discussing about how scooby-doo and the mystery inc. is similar to b.p.r.d.  so i thought, hey! why not a team-up between the two main characters?  and since i'm on my own personal prohibition (FOR A WHOLE FREAKING MONTH), they should fight prohibition-era ghosts.
